What is RemoveSpamTraps.net?
RemoveSpamTraps.net analyzes uploaded email lists using a proprietary library to identify addresses highly likely to be spam traps. The service is operated by Founder Bits Inc. that also operates BigMailer, an email marketing platform. This spam trap removal functionality has been used as part of BigMailer's built-in email validation for many years. We decided to offer a standalone service, allowing customers to run a spam trap check on lists that don't need full verification, making it more affordable and accessible.
BigMailer email delivery infrastructure has built-in spam trap detection (not identification), so we can track the effectiveness of our spam trap identification and prove that it is highly effective. Majority of BigMailer customers using built-in validation are able to remove 30-80% of total spam traps. See example below from a large BigMailer account:
